Our client, a leading supplier of material handling and customised automation solutions, is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join their team at a customer site in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated technician to work in a dynamic, high-performance manufacturing environment supporting advanced automated systems.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A formal technical qualification (minimum Level 6 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- At least 7 years’ experience in a technical role spanning mechanical, electrical, and IT systems
- Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
- Strong background in general maintenance and technical cleaning activities
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and working with preventative maintenance (PM) programmes
- Solid knowledge of automated systems, including conveyor technologies
- Competence in troubleshooting across PC, PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, IT, and electrical/electronic systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly and effectively under pressure
- Proven ability to diagnose faults and restore equipment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
