We are currently recruiting for compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care within a healthcare environment. The role involves supporting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting independence wherever possible, and ensuring comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing at all times. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team while also being expected to use initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualifications & Experience
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or a relevant healthcare qualification
- Previous experience in a care or support role
- Understanding of person-centred care and supporting individuals with diverse needs
- Training in Safe Medication Management and/or Patient Moving & Handling is an advantage
- Awareness of relevant healthcare standards and regulatory requirements is desirable
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from senior staff and management
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including assistance with personal care and daily tasks
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Commitment to delivering a high standard of care and maintaining professionalism at all times
