On behalf of our client in public health, AllPro Recruitment are now seeking a Dental Nurse to join their dental team.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality dental care, assisting clinicians during procedures and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during dental examinations and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials ahead of appointments.
- Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments in line with infection prevention and control procedures.
- Support and reassure patients throughout their appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment administration.
- Work closely with the dental team to support the smooth running of clinics.
- Follow confidentiality, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- A recognised Dental Nursing qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring, patient-focused approach.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A dental radiography/radiology qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
