We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a residential site project from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on, organised professional who can manage schedules, subcontractors, budgets, and site operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering residential construction projects on time and within budget, while ensuring strong communication with clients, trades, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of residential construction sites
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Monitor budgets, costs, and project progress to ensure timely delivery
- Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project compliance
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure all work is completed to quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and change orders quickly
- Track procurement and deliveries to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in residential construction
- Strong knowledge of residential building processes, scheduling, and site coordination
- Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with budgets, cost control, and project reporting
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and general project reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in residential builds
- Experience managing multiple residential sites or phases
- Relevant construction management or trade qualification
