On behalf of our public sector client we are currently recruiting for a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join a busy team within Community Development.
This is an office-based position with some work in the community when required.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Administration experience, preferably within a clerical role within community development or similar
- Previous experience working with voluntary groups an advantage
- Strong IT skills essential
- Strong organisational skills
- High levels of attention to detail
- Good time management
- Interpersonal and communication skills important as role will involve working with the community and liaising with development team
- Experience in writing minutes and compiling reports
- Ability to work independently or on own initiative
- Flexibility to work within a multi-sectoral team
- Ability to prioritise workload
