On behalf of our client based in Tullamore, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy team on a permanent, part-time basis. This role will preferably be worked over three full working days at a total of 24 hrs per week.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Processing purchase bills and invoices
- Drafting sales invoices and following up on unpaid debtors
- Completing account and bank reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Reconciling credit card statements
- Assisting with management reporting and business analysis
- Assisting with preparation of annual budgets and monthly variance reports
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns, VAT returns as well as other statutory returns.
- Experience in The Big Red Book accounting software (required)
- Part qualified ACCA/ACA or similar (preferred)
- 1-2 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
